Find a dermatologist and ask about Differin gel and Bactrim DS (an antibiotic). I had BAD acne before and this combo cleared me up pretty quickly. I still get a couple every now and then, but that's probably due to hormones which these meds cannot prevent.

Forget about patience, the acne might get worse if nothing is done.
I had acne in my early twenties and it didn't get better until I dropped out of college and left the middle class.

'cetaphil' is the mildest cleansor for your face. once you pat your skin dry, dont rub, apply a very thin layer of 'differin' gel, and thats only from your doctor. After the application of the gel, wait a minute for it to dry, and then moisturize with a non comedogenic moisturizer. noncomedogenic means it doesnt clog your pores. look for it.
