No! Try: "Royal Air Force", British designation for the equivalent of USAF!
WW I or WWII story: It's nighttime, too dark to see to shoot at the enemy. Three soldiers are in their foxhole (or trench) and each want to smoke a cigarette before trying to get some sleep for the next day (none are assigned to stand guard duty tonight). Matches are in short supply, so they agree to share one match to light their cigs. The first one lights up and an unseen enemy, close by, sees it and quietly positions his rifle, thinking to himself, "Ready!", the second GI lights his cig, as the enemy soldier, silently slips his safety off and brings the stock of the weapon to his shoulder, thinking, "Aim"; as the third GI brings the match to the tip of his cig, the enemy quietly tightens his finger on the trigger, thinking to himself, "Fire", as he squeezes off a round! The two survivors have just learned why "Third man on a match," is *not* just a superstition, as they quickly return fire!
