the tickets for the game. And how can you "assure" yourself of having the opportunity to buy the ticket. I know once they are on sale they'll be gone in five minutes. Any strategies I can use? Thank you for answering my questions?

You have NO chance. The 56,000 NY Yankee fans who come to every home game will get them all. Enjoy watching it on TV. Look for me in the crowd 16 rows behind the Yankee dugout, I'll be the smiling guy, waving.

Public sale is highly limited....after tickets are scooped up by MLB for use by employees and guests, and the club for season and partial season ticket holders. Contact the Yankees since it may be the case of a very limited sale or lottery for the remaining tickets.

You'll probably have to get them from a scalper (either online or on the street).

I remember I checked into getting tickets to the '99 All Star game in Boston. Just to have an opportunity to buy tickets, you to be a season ticket holder for a certain number of years (I forget how many).

yeah go to the stadium really early on the day they go on sale and be as close to the front of the line as possible and buy them as soon as the window opens. then you'll have tickets in hand. while you're there, get me two seats on the first base line. i really wanna go too.
