Why, what questions do you want answered?
Maybe the point to life is to discover those answers, and if you don't do it by the time you are dead then you will never.

If I died and someone popped up to show me the truth to all life's mysterious etc then I would still have one unanswered question for them - why the hell was I alive in the first place then? What was the point of that?

To be given all the answers when you are dead defeats the point of being alive and just makes death a continuation of something rather than the end - which is what it is.

By the way, your question isn't morbid at all, just highly insightful yet unanswerable, but maybe I can give you the correct answer when I am dead...
:)

(You mean that there is a powered yahoo answers there ?)
To be serious, yes. I think as soon as we leave our limiting material body, we get access to a world of very reality! the real reality! But still I think that there are some other kinds of limitations there. One must be mentally and spiritually ready to find out some types of reality. A criminal for example might not be still ready to know the reason of creation of angels for example, because they are involved in their horrible situation, and are not really in a good condition to admit some things.
This is what I believe in.
It is our soul that we grow up or degrade in this world, and what leaves the body is exactly that changed spirit that will experiece a lot of things, so it will depend on the deeds how much of the reality one is able to understand.

What happens when we die is a hard question to answer, I don`t think that we find out all the unanswered questions. I like to think that we just look down on our loved ones and try to guide them.

I don't think so. I am a bit into the paranormal, mainly the "ghost/entity/spirit/whateveruwannacallit" part of it. There is research that some people just NEVER find out, and move on. They are still trapped, and confused

I believe we do get the understanding of everything, I don't believe we carry on as we are, that's just bizarre! I think we understand and then exist but only as a drop of water in an ocean exists we just become part of life and view that as your end or not. I believe it is not an end. I will just be and know peace.

I strongly believe that we do, i also believe that the life we are living is hell and only when we die do we reach our heaven, and that we are judged on the way we lived our life here on earth, and also, i have seen spirits, ie my husband, and gran, though not yet my mum and dad, and they have spoke to me, so i too also believe in an afterlife. and when its my time, i will have no hesitation in trying to prolong this existance, but will be eager to join those who have gone before me, but hopefully not for a while yet !! xx

I think we have to live many lifetimes to learn all we need to know.
So though I believe we go to the spirit world when we die and we will learn things there, we do not get told everything as I believe God is more interested in us learning things for ourselves, rather than just being told everything.
