I believe that there is a cause, er, reason, but one we may be consciously unaware of.
I liked the answerer that brought up the point that you can feel happy for no particular reason, as well.
Bottom line: we process so much and are so stressed that the proverbial s**t happens all the time. We can control only so much and have not enough time to examine all of our experience. But we are amazing, all of us. Cheers! C. :)!!

Everybody will get depressed on occasion. It is a common emotion. When it persists and interferes with typical functioning (work, social, etc), then it turns into a hindrance. Some types of despair are situational, and the reply is on the whole located in either accelerated coping expertise or identifying what you have to do to fortify your circumstances. Headquartered just on what you described, it seems like you are doing well in your profession however living in a place that essentially sacrifices your social existence. ??? Is that true? Or, are you feeling too down to go out the place you might be? The answer to those questions traditionally have some indication as to what you would need to recall for the longer term. Dusting off your resume and looking for work someplace that appeals to you socially possibly an alternative. If it is that you're too down on yourself to discover what's around you and that is been going on for some time, seeing your doc and a therapist possibly for your interest. If it's simply hesitation and shyness, see what events are out there. Join a gymnasium, physical activities team, church, something. Supply the location a better danger if you haven't already. Whatever you do, simply standing still most of the time isn't the fine existence move.

I'm handicapped and have a problem with that. I have severe spinal problems, it's left me with severe secondary problems, I have to be careful and watch for self pity, depression, jealousy, etc.
