I usually tip the standard 15%, unless the service goes above and beyond. I steer clear of cows who seem to have a bad attitude and act like they are doing you a favor when they take your order.

Speed of service is important. If the cow isn't mooooving fast enough, I won't tip as well. However, their's can be an udderly impossible job so I try not to make them mad. Service isn't always a black and white issue. The nice thing about growing up in Jersey is that their service was always excellent to justify their milking you for better tips. As my friend and experienced waiter Angus always says - it's not easy to maintain Grade A quality service while putting up with a lot of bull from customers as you serve them steak and ice cream.

You know I usually think your questions are great and nobody should have a problem with them. But I have heard some grumblings that some of the Yahoo people are going to BEEF this one!
Best take the bull by the horns and think about going to a different feed lot where you don't get waited on by some big old heifer!
I liked this question, but I think you've milked it for all its worth.

If I have no beef with them I will give em a 4 quarters for every quart of milk that they supply. Anything else would be udderly ridiculous. A buck tip should bowl them over.

I tip at least $1.00 for every time the cow comes to my table. ...extra if it's my birthday and the cow sings to me or bakes me a cake.
