Very simply.

As you know, Ben was a man of many talents. Not the least of which were his experiments that led to inventions regarding the stain removal of many substances from various items.

A little known fact is that he is honored by being placed on the $100 bill was for that very reason.

Ever the forward thinker, he wrote a solution for the very problem you are encountering.

Soak on in a mixture of possum urine and lye for 5 minutes and then hang in the sun light until dry. The stain will be gone. It my sound like a archaic way to do it, but remember he was limited to what was a available at the time.

You are lucky really. If it had been a $20 bill you would have had to burn it. Ben never did get along with Alex.
