consequences of uterus swelling.. Please help..?

my frnd got aborted recently thru tablets. her bleeding has not stopped for 7 days. she fainted yesterday. the doctor said she has uterus swelling and that could be a serious problem. can u please say wat cud be the consequences of uterus swelling?

Could be an infection. She needs to go back to the dr to have this treated further because if it is infection can cause serious problems to her health.
