What are the consequences of uterus swelling?

my frnd got aborted recently. her bleeding has not stopped for 7 days. she fainted one day. the doctor said she has uterus swelling and that could be a serious problem. can u please say wat cud be the consequences of uterus swelling?

It could mean that she might have an infection going on. If not treated it can lead to scarring which can cause pain and other problems. She needs to get back in touch with her dr for further evaluation for this bleeding, I would recommend that she go to the ER to have them evaluate this situation further.
