accroding to www.point-topic.com, in term of population penetration, the top no. 1 to 4 is Denmark(33%), Holland (31.6%), Norway (31.5%), Sourth Korea.
In term of household penetration, S. Korea (89.4%) is No. 1 followed by Hong Kong (87.4%)
There is no figures specifically for Philippines but Philippines ranks no. 5 in the top 10 fastest quarterly growth (% wise) of broadband subscribers in the world for year ended Mar 31 2007. No. 1 to 4 is Indonesia, Greece, Croatia, Vietnam. It seems that those countries with relatively lower penetration will have the biggest growth.
Hope this helps

5.3% as of a report I saw dated November 2006. It has been a year since, so you can figure out how much this has grown since then. My own guess is that this would have moved up to something like 8% by now, considering the campaigns for broadband subscriptions offered by the telecom companies.

This is the website of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) of which the Philippines is a full member. They have exact details of mobile, landline and Internet, including broadband proliferation/ penetration rates in all member countries.
Cheers !!!

It's here... But the problem is it is difficult to call it broadband a lot of the time. It is considerably slower than broadband access in neighboring countries - including the likes of Cambodia and Viet Nam. And it is overpriced. Lots of promices are made, but almost none are kept. So be aware.

No studies have been conducted about this but just imagine all the internet cafes using broadband and home broadband connection. All telecom companies are offering broadband connections.

Do some research from PLDT website and other broadband distributor in Philippines.
Or check it from NTC - National Telecommunications Commission.
