Simon Jones is currently in rehab after a reaction on his previous injury. He is nearly fit but I believe Glamorgan (his county side) are resting him thro' the 20/20 series as it's not condusive to helping him recover from injury (the game is too short and fast). No doubt we will see him back soon as I think he was a vital part of Englands ashes triumph and remains one of the best bowlers currently available for England (although he is welsh). :o)

Hi, although Jones has started to play county cricket again! He hasn't played since a Hampshire four day game which I think was at the beginning of June. The ECB won't even let him play two games in a row yet so I can't see him returning for England for a while. Some people think he'll never return but I think that's negative as he's shown the mental and physical strength to come back before. But, as nobody has really come into the England team to replace him I think if fit he would definitely be chosen. Heard that he's doing a lot of work in the nets to build the knee up. Hopefully we'll get better weather so he can actually play some games that are coming up for glamorgan.
