There's an exceptional place called Uwajimaya's in Seattle and also Bellevue, they also have a store in Oregon.

Whenever we are down that way, we stop in, it is very large and well stocked with a wide range of Oriental products, even some specialties from Hawai'i. Right next door is an excellent Asian food eatery.

There are lots of asian markets in the Seattle area.

Uwajimaya (in the international district) is great
The store at the Great Wall shopping mall is also OK
North of Seattle in Shoreline is the Ranch 99 market
Further north on HWY 99 in Lynwood is Pal-Do World

These are all full sized stores with a large selection.
Uwajimaya is Japanese based, Great Wall and Ranch 99 are Chinese based, Pal-do World is Korean based, but all carry products familiar to other country's cuisines somewhat too.

Additionally, the Central Market stores (Shoreline, Mill Creek and Poulsbo) have larger than usual asian sections - they're just a part of the larger, standard supermarket but if you are nearby, it might get you what you need.

The Indian population is also growing in this area, and I've seen several Indian groceries pop up (in the Bothell area).
