Just a bit more practice. For the survivals one, I just beat the crap out of the opponents.

Keep using your Blast 2 attack and run. It will help greatly if the character you're using is customized with a strong Blast 2. There are two variations of survival battles: vs. Oozaru (Goku only), and vs. #18 (Hercule only).
For Goku, keep using Kamehameha Waves, as the Kaioken won't work at all against a creature that size. If you customized Goku with Potara, beef up his Kamehameha (I think it's a Blast 2 attack, depending on which form he's in), so that he'll keep the Oozaru at bay. When using the Kamehameha, hold down the triangle, and release the blast right before the monkey monster attacks you with a melee attack (which is most likey). Quickly dash away and power up until you have enough energy to execute another Kamehameha. Repeat until the clock runs out. If your customzied character is strong enough, it is possible to defeat the monster for bonus Zeni.
When playing as Hercule vs. #18 at the World Martial Arts Tournament, the key will be a bit more tricky, and a lot more risky if you want to take the shortcut. As soon as the battle starts, launch your Blast 1 attack. As soon as Hercule finishes off by launching #18 high into the air, he will struggle to stay afloat himself. Immediately land, and power up as much as possible. Do not let #18 come in range, but let her step back into the ring. This time, you'll have enough energy to launch a Blast 2, which is stronger. Pull this off, land immediately, and power up to execute another Blast 1. Repeat until the clock runs out. If you want to end it quickly, there's a huge risk of you losing quickly. But here's the strategy. Immediately launch your Blast 1 attack at the start of the match. Power up immediately afterwards, and launch another Blast 1. Keep knocking her back until she's floating out the ring. If you have the energy, launch another Blast 1 attack. Hopefully, when you send her flying, she'll land outside the ring before you can. Once you throw her though, IMMEDIATELY dash back to the ring while Hercule is struggling to stay airborne. You should land in the ring to avoid a ringout. There's a chance your method failed, and #18 did not get rung out, so you may have to resort to the longer way. Either tactic should work out, but I recommend the first ploy for safety reasons, unless you're really good at the game.

hi yes i know these are very hard. Once i had hercules and had to verse 18 in a tournament. It was very hard. You should get him to do attacks that involve him running into 18. Also once you have done that you run away until she comes to you and then repeat the same combo.
