Yeah, I just read most of the GOPs platform. Isn't it amazing that they reference 9/11 a total of 21 times? They say "terrorist" a total of 83 times. Since when is it American, or even Patriotic to aggressively persue such scare tactics?

Nah, but he's the only real conservative. The rest are all Republicans in the image of the old Eastern establishment - what we used to call "Rockefeller Republicans". Of course, the only Rockefeller still in politics is now a Democrat, but that actually fits what they're selling today. Can you believe that Mitt Romney is actually telling us that socialized medicine is a Republican value? Or what about Giuliani's opposition to spending cuts and tax cuts?

If you read any of the speeches or history of Barry Goldwater or Ronald Reagan, you will find a lot of similarities with Ron Paul's campaign. In fact, most of the "mainstream" Republicans of their day also called them wacko's and made out like they were extremists. The reality is quite different, as our current history has proven. Reagan peacefully brought the communist threat to an end, something all the "establishment" guys couldn't do with countless wars. "Peace through strength" is a winning strategy. It doesn't mean invading at random. It means standing firm and being resolute when there's a real attack. Anyone want to explain why we still haven't gone after Osama bin Laden?

By the way, Barry Goldwater, Jr. has been out fundraising for Ron Paul. That should tell you something. If you're still falling for the line that Ron Paul is a liberal or a nutcase or something, I think you need to look again. This isn't a fly-by-night operation. 2nd quarter fundraising reports showed that Ron Paul has more money in the bank than John McCain right now. So, you need to be sure before you cast insults. Make sure you're on the right side this time.

Ron Paul is not only NOT a "real" Republican, he's NOT a "real" candidate! The dude is using all this ruse of running for office to build his coffers so he can keep his representative seat election coffers big for when he has to run for re-election here in Texas. But when that time rolls around again the people in his district aren't going to be fools another go-round. This dude is toast! Not only in the presidential race, but in Texas next time around as well! We've had it with him!

There is no Real Republican candidate! If I were the Republicans, I wouldn't even show up! God, 4 more years of lies, corruption, business behind closed doors making US oil policy WITH the oil companies, and corporate welfare out of control!!

I think we have had enough! Just 2 more Republicans this week are in scandals, one with the Madam of Washington whore house and the other giving information to Nixon while he was on the committee investigating him! You people have no shame...and no morals!

And you always are the first to throw stones at everyone alse!

If you think Ron Paul is a republican then you obviously don't understand the republican platform. Ron Paul is a libertarian.

Get a republican to sign off on two liberal ideas and you call him a "real republican". All you Ron Paul lovers need to read the democratic platform because that is what Ron Paul is reading.
