Don't get me wrong - I'd like to vote for the state and local offices where there are candidates that represent my views. But President?

Hillary vs. Guiliani. Yuck.
Hillary vs. Thompson. Yuck.
Hillary vs. Romney. Yuck.

Should we leave it blank? Vote for Nader? Or just stay home?

"get it over with" is hardly a ringing endorsement of Hillary. And what should I do if NO party represents my views? Hold my nose, or just stay home?

I like Ron Paul more than Hillary. I'd love to see a Kucinich vs. Ron Paul election, it would really rejuvenate American democracy.

But realistically, they have an equal chance of getting nominated: zero.

Vote for Hillary, get it over with.
(hey, now, where's that "bring it on!" attitude?)

The Mormons believe we all lived in Heaven with Heavenly Father, several Heavenly Mothers, and 20 Billion Heavenly Siblings before we were born here on Earth. Then there was a war. The good guys won and were born White. The bad guys lost and became demons. Those who were neutral or did not fight bravely were born with non-white skin. The bravest of the brave were born to Mormon families.

We all know that Romney must have been a "Valliant Warrior" in the "War in Heaven" during the "Pre-Existence". How else could he have been born "White and Delightsome" to an LDS family here on Earth? Heck, he was probably one of the Commanding Generals . Now , America needs a President with valuable military experience like that to get us through our war in Iraq. Could you please ask "The One and Only True Prophet", Gordon Hinkley, to please release those valuable records to the public? We need to know what battles he fought in. How many medals he won. How many of the "Less Valliant Soldiers" he recommended being born with black skin when they got their chance to be born on Earth. Was Al Sharpton one of THEM ? How about Jesse Jackson? Mormons, this is your chance to show the world the light of the everlasting gospel. Dont miss out. We have General Romney running for president of the USA and we need you badly right now!

there is going to be such a contention that they decided to split it up and have the republicans vote on Nov's first Tuesday and have the dems vote on the first Thursday.

If you dont vote or if you throw away your vote, you have no room or right to complain-- but politics requires daily participation and interaction with your reps on a regular basis. Whether they are your party or not ,, they are your representatives and they do listen to the threat of loosing your vote

You don't HAVE to vote for a Republican or Democrat. There are alternatives, such as Independents, as you mentioned. There's also a write- in option if you prefer that Brad Pitt or Optimus Prime serve as president. :D

Still, it's important. One of our most important duties as citizens of the U.S. is to elect our representatives.

Any of them would probably be alot better than Hillary.

Blank included. LOL

Or you could just stay home. :-)

If you do vote you should vote for the most meaningful freedom for all and not just for trite anal insignificant special interest fetishes. The least amount of evil is always better than pandering to the ******** crowd of meth heads and circus freaks.

its about the lesser of two evils not about what the media and "pc" crowd guilts you into thinking you "have to" support

that's what's destroying freedom no matter how much you would love to be paid special attention to and pandered to

Just a bit of sarcasm, first. It depends on what State you vote in. Some States seem to tip the balance...
Now. If you don't vote, you have no valid gripe if things aren't going your way - If you do vote, and things aren't going your way - just kick some butt! lol

Do not vote Democrat or Republican, both do not allow other points of view to prevail.

Consider a Libertarian like Barry Goldwater was.

Pretty important. I'll vote for Hill even though she's not a fave of mine. Mostly because I'm confident she won't veto every bill I like to come to her desk the way Bush has.
