My boyfriend and I are going to Vegas at the end of July and neither of us drink, gamble or party. What are some things that a person should do while in Vegas?

PS We have no problem seeing naked people so any show suggestions would be helpful.

As far as sexy shows go, I highly recommend Zumanity at the NYNY. Sexy meets Cirque du Soleil: http://www.nynycasino.com/entertainment/entertainment_zumanity.aspx

Second choice sexy show would be MGM Grand's Crazy Horse Paris (formerly called La Femme):

Check out both the Beach and House of Blues venues at Mandalay Bay to see if they have any bands coming that interest you. Both venues are surprisingly inexpensive and great places to see shows. The Beach is just that... a sandy pool venue with the stage set out in the middle of the wave pool. People wear shorts or bathing suits and wade out into the water to listen to the band.
Beach: http://www.mandalaybay.com/entertainment/eventcalendar.aspx?venueid=12
HOB:

Free entertainment:
--Hit the Bellagio to see the Fountain show out front (always impressive) and check out their lovely atrium garden inside (great place for photos).
http://www.bellagio.com/pages/frameset_flash.asp
--Spend an evening downtown at Fremont Street. They have a four-block long video canopy over the street that offers nifty entertainment and they also have sidewalk vendors, free concerts, and the cheapest souvenir shops for t-shirts, mugs, keychains, etc for the folks back home.
http://www.vegasexperience.com/
--Wander off-strip to the Hard Rock hotel casino to check out the rock & roll memorabilia. They also have a great gift shop, but it's very pricey... and the Legendary Pink Taco has some of the best Mexican food in town. The Joint (their concert venue) gets lots of great bands, but it's usually a pricey ticket.
http://www.hardrockhotel.com/
--Flamingo has an outdoor wildlife park as part of their pool area that's open to the public. It features walking paths set amidst gardens with ponds and streams filled with turtles, penguins, ducks, and of course flamingos.
http://www.harrahs.com/casinos/flamingo-las-vegas/casino-misc/wildlife-habitat-detail.html

For a fee:
--If you like fishies, check out the Mandalay Bay Shark Reef aquarium. Those gambling dollars go a long way towards building impressive attractions.
http://www.mandalaybay.com/entertainment/sharkreef.aspx
--If you like dolphins and big kitty cats, check out the Secret Garden at the Mirage. Also walk out front of the hotel to see the Mirage volcano erupt on the strip, for free.
http://www.mirage.com/attractions/
--If you like roller-coasters/thrill rides, there are several here. NYNY has a coaster as does the Nascar Cafe at the Sahara. Stratosphere has three thrill rides at the top of the tower, as well as an observation deck.
http://www.nynycasino.com/entertainment/entertainment_therollercoaster.aspx
http://www.saharavegas.com/NASCAR/SPEED-facts/
http://www.stratospherehotel.com/tower_admission_prices.html
--There are "virtual" thrill rides too. Luxor has one on their atrium level along with an Imax theater. And if you like Star Trek, don't miss the Star Trek Experience at the LV Hilton (the highest quality virtual rides around, as well as a Star Trek museum with actual props, etc.)
http://www.luxor.com/attractions/attractions_atrium.aspx
http://www.lvhilton.com/entertainment/startrek.shtml

--There are tons of shopping options. The Forum Shops at Caesar's is a popular place. The Grande Canal Shops at the Venetian is my fave, with a canal complete with gondola rides running through the mall.
http://www.harrahs.com/casinos/caesars-palace/casino-misc/the-forum-shops-detail.html
http://www.venetian.com/GCS.aspx
--The Venetian also offers Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum and the Guggenheim Hermitage Museum.
http://www.venetian.com/MT.aspx
http://www.venetian.com/GHM.aspx
--The Wynn is worth a visit simply as an architectural wonder. For a fee, they also have a small art gallery and some sort of lush waterfall-ish attraction thingy that I haven't seen.
http://www.wynnlasvegas.com/
--Another off-Strip option, check out the Liberace Museum for rhinestone covered Rolls Royces, mirrored pianos, etc.
http://www.liberace.org/

That oughtta keep you busy for at least a few days =).

Here's my fave map of the Strip for you, though it's slightly out of date due to lots of recent changes. The Aladdin is now the Planet Hollywood, the Barbary Coast is now Bill's Gamblin' Hall, the Stardust has been imploded, and the New Frontier should be coming down any day now. Still the map is very useful, and for perspective, it's about five miles from Mandalay Bay on the south to Strat on the north.

There is SO much to do out here!

Depending on where you are staying, Most Hotel-Casinos have shops, restaurants, arcades, shows and a pool.

You can go to the Adventure Dome and go on all the rides, visit the arcade and the circus shows. New York, New York you can ride the roller coaster around and through the casino. You can enjoy the go carts and roller coaster at the Sahara casino. At the end of Las Vegas Boulevard, you can visit the Stratosphere hotel and enjoy the rides at the top.

If you enjoy shopping, it doesn't get any better than the Fashion Show Mall. The Fashion Show Mall has world class shopping, dining and actual fashion shows that take place on a runway that rises from the floor in the center of the mall.

Their is amazing dining and entertainment everywhere you turn! There are free shows at The Rio, Fountains at Bellagio, Volcano at The Mirage, Lion Habitat at MGM Grand, Siren Show at Treasure Island and the light show in Downtown Las Vegas.

There is an amazing aquatic habitat at Mandalay Bay called the Shark Reef, You could spend hours in there without getting bored. There is a classic car show at The Imperial Palace with everything from Marilyn Monroe's Pink Cadillac to Hitler's Mercedes - Great place!

There are celebrity impersonator shows nightly at The Stratosphere and at The Imperial Palace, The one at Imperial is the best. You may enjoy seeing Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian, it is a great production!

There are always shows like Chippendales, Thunder from Down under, American Storm and Fantasy.

Of course you can wander the casinos, many of them offer shopping and over the top sights. Caesars Palace offers The Forum Shops which house top designers such as Prada, Hermes, Versace.. It is not to be missed.

If you like discount designer outlets, there is a huge district of outlet stores in downtown Las Vegas! If you are renting a car, a 15 minute drive out to Primm Nevada will treat you with great outlets (Burberry, Tods, Neimans, Coach), flume rides, roller coasters and great dining!

If you also want to see the sights, The Valley of Fire, Death Valley, Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon are all within a few hours of the city.

All in all, there is so much to see and do that you probably regret doing one thing and not having the time to do another. Also, it is great to kick back and relax and not have to do anything at all! If thats how you are feeling, many hotels offer amazing spa services at affordable prices. All of the top resorts feature amazing pools and water features, perfect if you just want to lay around in the sun and order an adios.

Las Vegas is the most interesting and interesting town on earth and with hotelbye you will find out more. Nowhere else on earth you will discover a town that's all the travel amenities that merely a complete resort location could offer: lavish casino accommodations, great food, amazing live entertainment and state-of-the artwork convention and business show facilities. Las Vegas is definitely a magnificent town and precisely what you'd expect from a world-class area, and more, is below for the travel pleasure. One of many areas you must visit in Las Vegas is the Fremont Street, a pedestrian area with a myriad of distinctive sites.

There are tons of websites at which you can see who's performing at the various venues (or you can be lazy like me and check with a travel agent, they'll look it up and may even book it for a nominal fee). There's also Ethel M's candy factory (it's owned by M&M/Mars creator as a tribute to his wife and it's upscale chocolates) and the cactus gardens. There's also the silver mines on the outskirts of town, a thing often eclipsed by Cali's Gold Rush (though there are still independant miners who work claims right around LV, and if you look, you may be able to try your hand at it.

I know it's called Sin City, but there's much more to do in Vegas than it seems most people realize.

I haven't been there in a few years but, I know you won't have any problem finding something to do. Vegas has made itself into a family destination spot now. There are shows, shopping (or just window shopping), Circus Circus has magic shows, a circus that plays all day, and an amusement park inside, with an awesome roller coaster. New York New York has a cool coaster too but, if you're afraid of heights, you might want to think twice(same with the Stratosphere). I know there's a water park there, near Circus Circus. It's cool to go around and people watch too, if that's something you like to do. It's good that you're going together too, I went by my self and, while it was great (I was obsessed with Vegas for, like, a year afterwards) I wished I had someone to hang with while I was there. I guarantee, you won't lack for things to do while you're there. HAVE FUN.

Leave town and go somewhere else?

Just kidding. There is lots of free stuff to do and, as you point out, lots of shows.

Check out the sites below for info on things to do and shows in town.

I here the show at the MGM Grand Crazy Horse Paris is excellent. Any of the Cirque de Soleil shows are great, and Celine Dion is still in town (last year for her) at Caesar's Palace.

Have a great time.
