I try never to say something that in depth without meaning it. It is better to hurt someone quickly and get it over with than to keep dragging on a long lie that will eventually hurt them anyway.

I think its in my nature to put smiles on the faces around me and I find that no harm at all even when I'm falling

It is better to be cruel to be kind... meaning being realistic about how you view things, even a little pessimistic, so if things turn our better the surprise will be uplifting.
