I have a 2WIRE wireless router with a single ethernet port.
I have 2 devices that need to be plugged into that port at the same time/function at the same time (to be available for access wireless e.g. two printers)

Is there a way for me to accomplish that or do I have to get a new wireless router with multiple LAN ports?

You can just add a switch. You plug the output of the router to the switch and then connect both computers to the switch. Four and five port switches are relatively cheap.

Since most 2wires are also Wifi enabled you can also connect using a wifi print server adapter on one machine.

You speak of a wireless router but multiple LAN ports. Most wireless routers have 4 wired LAN ports and can support muptiple wireless connections. They will allow sharing from one device to the next if a home network is set up on them both from the wired and wireless ports. I have had great success with the WRT54G. If using wireless, set up security, set to channel 11 turn off the SSID and change the login password. That will take care of any security issues and should eliminate interference by common wireless devices.
