ok... i was watching the news last nite, wherein they said the wwe does not offer insurance benefits for any of the superstars... furthermore, they state that flights and travel arrangements are all paid out of pocket by the them as well... is it true???

That's true. There are exceptions with the 'stars' who get their plane tickets and hotel rooms paid for. However, none of them are offered insurance and a lot of them can't even begin to afford the kind of insurance people have to have in a high injury job like wrestling. There have been many efforts made to change this process, but no one has been able to as of yet.

employers give benefits to attract and retain employees and/or out of sense of paternalism. Certainly Vince doesn't have problem getting talent, and obviously doesn't care too much about their long or short term well being or financial security.

Yes its true, they are treated very badly by WWE(unless they are a star)
