If not, why, and what would to change about yourself, and why?

No. As a boy and a young man I wanted to be a great artist, a painter. If you look at my work, you will see why I am not.

I have come to terms with this and have not allowed it to spoil my fun in life.

I'm not going to go to a gallery and slash someones painting just because it's better than mine; am I? No, I think not. Instead I'll roll up into a ball and scream.

I believe very few people actually become what they want to and end up being a shadow of the image they originally had for themselves.

Such is life. I know I'm a genius. It's just a matter of time and by hypnotic charm, I hope to convince a gullible public that I'm the greatest thing since Claude Monet.

Now where did I put my glasses?

This is ironical in the question, but this is the fact that we are a composite material of our dreams, aspirations, desires, ambitions and wishes. We always try to realise these in our mind. We might go along a longwinded way in life, but in the end we all have in view, the destination that we want reach is that of our dreams as our ultimate reality. I would, therefore, say, yes! I am what I want to be … as I would always be.

I'm working on it.

As you imply, everyone can do something about their own situation and better themselves. I used to be in retail managment but didn't really like it.

I did my BSc at uni. starting at age 55, now nearly 10 years later, I am having a great time with my students teaching in China. Go For It - whatever you want to do. You Can.

I would have put more effort into evaluating what my strengths are, and how I could make the best use of them, instead of just taking the easy path and doing what's expected of me. Here's the best question I've ever heard, that should be asked regularly of himself by anyone with an above-average intellect: "If you had a genius working for you, what would you have them do? Why aren't you doing it?"

No I am not who I want to be but I am who I am. I would like to be taller thinner not have any health problems have more money ,a euro milions lottery win would do me, be a midwife but I would still want to have the same people around me I have now.

I don't want to be anyone else, I am happy being me.
I am not perfect, I've got faults, but so what, that is what being a living person is. If I was perfect then I would have to kill myself as I would have reached a dead end.

No, am am not.
Why? Because if I was who I now want to be, I'd want to be something else.
Change? I guess I would need some ambision and optimism, and belief in the fact that something could be changed.
Why again? Because.
