The UN conducted a worldwide survey.

The only question asked was:

"Would you please give your honest opinion about solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the world?"
The survey was a huge failure.

In Africa, they didn't know what 'food' meant.

In India, they didn't know what 'honest' meant.

In Europe, they didn't know what 'shortage' meant.

In China, they didn't know what 'opinion' meant.

In West Asia, they didn't know what 'solution' meant.

In South America, they didn't know what 'please' meant.

And in the US, they didn't know what 'the rest of the world' meant.

Oh, in Europe there's shortage, of course, especially in Eastern Europe!

That part about India might be even rude...And about South America too...
What do you mean by West Asia?Middle East?
Besides, generalizations are bad, that's what we are taught in school...

I think that's terrible. If we, the US, didn't know what 'the rest of the world' meant, then why are we spending so much time, money, and effort into helping people. There is only one country in this world that doesn't owe us money, and we are constantly giving countries all over the world money. And this is what they think of us? I wish we would focus more on us and what's going on in our country than sending all of the money we do overseas to people who don't appreciate or care that we do that!

So sad...
