This isn't off youtube, and the firefox plugins don't work (I have 3 of them (download plugger, unplugged and videodownloader) and it's a flash file. The firefox plugins only save party of the file, like 17%

Have you tried the "Downthemall" plugin for Firefox?

If its streaming video, many players allow you to open the stream directly and record. if its flash, i cant help you.
