You have allowed you computer to become infected with adware.

Run both of these on-line scans. Both are free and excellent at detecting and removing malware free of charge. There is no need to un-install your current protections before using these.

1. Scan for virus, worms, dialers, etc. and remove (free online scan, no downloaded program) with BitDefender's Online Scanner
http://www.bitdefender.com/

2. Scan for trojans, adware, and spyware and remove (free online scan, no downloaded program) with Ewido Online Scanner ( now known as AVG Anti-Spyware). This is NOT the same as AVG Anti-Virus.
http://www.ewido.net/en/

These scans will take quite a bit of time. The time is necessary to clean-up an infected computer.

Good luck.

Did you or anyone else who uses your computer enable pop-ups recently? For instance, sometimes if you are downloading software, like an update to Adobe Flash Player for instance, you may have had to enable pop-ups to let their site open a download window. If you (or anyone else who uses your computer) did this incorrectly, you may have accidentally changed the settings on your pop-up blocker software to enable all pop-ups.

It sounds like you have spyware on your computer.
If I were you, I would avail myself of the free trials of some really good anti-spyware programs such as CounterSpy. It is far more powerful than any free software out there.
Try their free 15 day trial of the full system and see what it picks up.
It cannot hurt to try and unlike anti-virus programs, you can run more than one anti-spyware program on your computer.

I dun have to be Sherlock to know that u r using IE. Plz get rid of IE and get Firefox (firefox.com). Its free and has a built in pop-up blocker. If ur already using firefox (i'm pretty sure ur not using it coz ffox never give pop-ups like IE) then my bad.

Looks like adware, spyware or a virus. you'll need to do a scan and delete it in order to fix your problem. You should have an anti-virus program. If not, download these (all of them):

http://www.filehippo.com/download_avg_antivirus/
http://www.filehippo.com/download_spybot_search_destroy/
http://www.filehippo.com/download_ad-aware/

do a scan and hopefully, things should work out.

We had that problem but with this surf themed search engine site. It really pushed our buttons and we knew something was wrong. Then we found out that we had viruses on our computer from using internet explorer. We now use Mozilla and we haven't had the trouble since.

You hit up a site that tagged you. That sucks. Usually porn sites have those. Did anyone use your computer to look at porn lately?
