If I were you, I would avail myself of the free trials of some really good anti-spyware programs such as CounterSpy. It is far more powerful than any free software out there (see below).
Try their free 15 day trial of the full system and see what it picks up.
It cannot hurt to try and unlike anti-virus programs, you can run more than one anti-spyware program on your computer.

Delete it yourself!
When Spybot or Adaware scans and detects it, it'll tell you where the spyware is.
Go look for it and delete it manually. Just make sure you don't delete anything important like registry files.
