eeeewwww, although it is vegetable based it may not be adviseable to use it in salad dressing. wait, wait, unless one does a rim job slang term (toss salad). I have used KY lube for vacuum pumping.

I personally use it as slip and slide material.
Lay down a tarp and lube it up with that stuff, it's like nothing else.
