Hi... I recommend checking out Rock-Medicine. There is a chat group on Yahoo about it. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/rockmedicine/
It has been used and shared for 30 years now, yet not that many people know about it. Another website about it is www.pacific-crossroads.com
I have been using this method for over 10 years and have healed many things with it, including diabetes.
All the best in your search!

Dr. Weil is a graduate of Harvard Medical School. He is both a medical researcher and a practicing physician. Dr. Weil has traveled the world studying healers and healing systems, and has earned an international reputation as an expert on alternative medicine, mind-body interactions, and medical botany. He has written several books, including 8 Weeks To Optimum Health, Natural Health, Natural Medicine, Spontaneous Healing, From Chocolate to Morphine, and Health and Healing. I, personally have found his books extremely informative and refer to them often. I also get 'Daily Tips' from his site on Yahoo.
Oh,and now you can find him under 'Health' on Yahoo.
Good Luck finding what you are looking for!

Have you tried a Yahoo search for "alternative medicine" + websites (OR "web sites")?

I have been torn over this issue. I think doctors should be informed about herbal supplements and be able to prescribe them like they do in Europe. Government regulation could eliminate all the crap supplements that are on the shelf for uninformed people to consume. At this point in time I think the federal government and the medical community are so biased against herbs that they would make it illegal to drink a cup of chammomile tea to relax. I am tired of the government telling me what to eat, what to drink, etc. Some of us do actually take the time to do RESEARCH on health issues. I know when I need to go to the doctor and when I can take care of myself. I guess General Mills is going to be in BIG trouble for their medical claims that Cheerios can lower cholesterol.

I'm with previous poster. Andrew Weil is a Harvard-trained physician. Some of the About.com articles are a little too "alternative" for me.

www.dandesoap.com, she is a herbalist that has a retail location in my hometown. I buy everything from her and if she doesn't have it, she can make it. Check out her website and if you don't see it, go to the contact page and email her what you are looking for. Her phonenumber is on there to if you decide to call. Tell her I sent you.
