Remember back in the day when Disney channel had some pretty good shows on like "The Famous Jett Jackson" and "Smart Guy?" Now, "all" these shows they have now are not entertaining or funny.

LOL, hilarydufffan01 is pretty pathetic. "Bad word"? Please. That's not a bad word. I'm surprised you didn't say the c word. Now THAT'S a bad word, you poor, poor dimwit.
Anyway, I really think that Disney Channel has completely gone out of it's freakin' mind. I miss all of the classic shows, like Smart Guy, Boy Meets World, and Sister Sister. I mean, they had funny plots, great actors, good scripting. I mean, now what do we have? We have Hannah Jackass Montana. I mean, it's not even funny! What in the world has gotten into these children? I bet if they were born 10 years early, they would've been able to see the goodness of classic Disney Channel. But NOOO, they obviously had to be born in the 21 century, where brainless actors and actresses are starring in the most ridiculous shows I've ever seen in my NATURAL-BORN LIFE. I mean, who would want to watch a show about a stupid hickey that came from Tenessee to Malibu that's an idiot by day, mediocre brat singer by night? That's STUPID. And you know why it's stupid? Because it doesn't relate to REAL LIFE. The old classic shows had good plots because it was a bunch of normal kids attending normal schools and having normal yet fun lives. And then came along this crap. About a hillbilly in a blonde wig. WHO THE HELL WOULD WANT TO WATCH A SHOW ABOUT A HILLBILLY IN A BLONDE WIG?! That's absurd! Not only do I blame these clueless children for watching it, but I blame the stupid people who created the show, wrote the scripts, designed the costumes, produced it, and brought this worthless piece of crap to life! GODDAMNIT IT, I WANNA KICK SOMEONE IN THE BALLS RIGHT NOW! Oh man, one day...ONE DAY...I'll make everybody sign a petetion and cancel the Disney Channel forever...and then, I'll replace it with good and respected classic shows back from the 90's...yeah...that's right...I'll do it...AND NO ONE WILL STOP ME!!! BWAHAHAHAA *maniacal laughter* DISNEY CHANNEL WILL SOON BURN IN HELL!!!

This new generation of Disney Channel is poopy. I miss the old stuff, too! Even before Smart Guy, I remember shows like old cartoons on late at night. I guess those days are over.

Ya know, I have to agree there. Disney channel tried one show (like Lizzie McGuire or something) and tried making all of it's other shows similar to it. I was born in the area where I saw the older Disney shows, and gradually watched it change, and it's like, these people are role models for children, yet they make it impossible to be like them (living in a 5 star hotel? being an 'undercover' pop star? puhleeze!). They actually have soundtracks to shows now too. Most Disney Channel stars come out with a singing career too now did you notice? And some of them suck! Like Miley Cyrus, she used Hannah Montana 2 C.D. to put a solo C.D. by herself on it. Isn't it the same voice? I don't think Miley Cyrus is very pretty either. Something's weird with her teeth. but yeah, this crap takes over Disney channel and is actually a hit? Not to me... ;-)

I was growing up in those days, and I'm very glad there weren't any shows like Hannah Montana! Smart Guy was probably my favorite out of all the old ones, and I miss it. ^^;
Basically, all I've gotten from commercials of Hannah Montana is that the girl is ugly. Seriously. Well, more on the 'she looks weird' side. Then there's the whole having her perform on stage as her character with the wig on! It's just very messed up, and making little girls want to aspire to be that! It's terrible to me.
If the Disney Channel actually tried to make good shows, and not create shows that are basically bad copies of old ones {Hannah Montana kind of reminds of Lizzie Mcguire, sadly.} then maybe this next generation wouldn't be as stupid and trend-happy as it looks like it's going to become.
Like I said...I miss Smart Guy. ^^;

i agree disney use to be so much better, but i think it is the it is just are getting older and that channel is meant for kids (cuz if u remember smart guy u can't be quite the age diney channel is shooting for) so it probably won't seem as good or entertaining.

omg....smart guy was an AMAZING show! haha...its all changed. Disney....Nickelodeon, all that. Hannah Montana and The Suite Life of Zach and Cody is all its about!

yeah hannah montana has got to be one of the worst shows on television....ever. disney channel has always sucked in my opinion. but i do like to watch boy meets world on disney

I know what you mean!!! I used to love Smart guy. Everynight at 8:00-9:00. Or what about sister, sister. Or, the growing pains. Or Brotherly love??? Those were the good 'ol days. And all the shows now are so superficial and are giving the watchers the wrong ideas and views. Geez!

People, disney channel is intended for people 13 and under, not to be watched by 40 year olds. Those shows are designed to make children laugh not 40 year olds. You are entitled to ur opinion and i just stated mine.
