Well, I usually love your questions, Sandstorm, but it would be hard for me to share my husband with another woman. I know that in some cultures and religions, it's very normal for a man to have multiple wives, though. So, I guess if I was raised that way, I could accept it easier. But, if my husband told me that I had no choice, then of course I would accept his decision because I try to be obedient to him in all things.

If I was married, I would never wish that. That's what my husband is for. A marriage is a partnership. You can't have a partnership if one person is subservient. The husband has equal responsibility toward the household chores and raising the children. If the wife happens to be a stay at home mom, the ratio of responsibility shifts to a degree, but not so it all lies on her. The husband should still help out as much as possible.

Sandstorm I am going to tell you this one more time; having a co-wife is not all fun and games. I don't want her and I would not allow her in my house period that's my territory. My husband has a deep abiding respect for me, as in had he another wife, which he does not, he would never do that to me; no decent husband would put two wives in the same house; it's inhumane, why we'd would look like breeding machines or something like that.

I am not currently with a man but I have been in a co wife situation before and it is very very good all around. That was a particularly happy time in my life as well.
We were good friends, almost like sisters, and we could spell each other with the children for various activities. It was quite fine.

Isn't that part of a religion? When theres one man and multiple wives? So is that why you are the way you are? It's your religion? Your sick, twisted, inhuman, immoral, in 'proper' messed up religion is the cause of your sick, twisted, inhuman, messed up, unspeakably wrong way thinking and life??? And hell no! if I'm someone then they are with me! Not some other tramp. And if I'm married to someone then they can help around the house just as much, because that's what a marriage is!

There is no way that I could share my husband with another woman. He and I split the house chores.

Why? He's perfectly capable of helping out. Besides, why do you think we have kids in the first place?

Okay, here's one thing we disagree on... but it's just that I like to do everything for my man myself. That way I know he's happy and everything has been done.

No. but I have often thought that co-husbands might be useful
that way there would be more of them working and more of them available for sex, We could pay somebody to do the housework.
