I get paid monthly, and you would take your annual gross(50,000 in your example), and divide by the pay cycle (in my case 12)
That would be my monthly gross pay
To get my net, you would need to deduct taxes, benefits....etc

Not sure what you mean exactly.. I am on about $33,000 US a year and that is paid monthly (broken down in to little bits and given each month that adds up to $33,000.. with a months bonus at the end of the year.. But yes, it depends on the employer* could be weekly, every 2 weeks or monthly.

It depends on the company. You could be paid weekly, bi-weekly,monthly, bi-monthly or other ways. A friend of mine gets paid weekly at the rate of $40,000 and a $10,000 bonus at the end of the year.

A salary is a fixed amount earned even though you may work more than 40 hrs. a week. You still get a pay check every two weeks but no overtime. You are eligible for vacation and sick time, and are usually eligible for bonus at the end of year depending on your position in the co.

That's the annual salary. You'll have to ask how often you get paid. It must be monthly or more frequently. Bi-weekly is pretty common.

They won't make you wait a year, but you should ask what the policy is.
If it's weekly, the gross amount is $961.54
Bi-weekly, it's twice the weekly amount - $1,923.08
If it's semi-monthly (1st and 16th) it's $2083.33 per check.
Monthly, it's $4,166.67

yes. You get a regular check, it is just a set amount, that is broken up, which equals the amount stated at the end of a full year..

It really depends on your employer. You could be paid monthly even, but 50K is annual income.
