dru, there's more to leading than scoring craploads of points. Didn't Jordan score more in the early years when they were losing, before he started leading the Bulls to championships?

right not, Kobe wants to be every superhero on the DC and Marvel lineups because he seems to cant decide on anything these days.

Pretty good analysis! Kobe, in all due respect, can't carry a team by his lonesome. They tried putting him on lead but to no avail. He's a better sidekick to anyone as long they stay on the same page and not lose focus. Too bad that Kobe "ego" Bryant can't content himself being in the shadows of anyone.

I think he's got the potential to be a Batman, but he needs a superfriend of his own and he needs to grow up some more. His streaks of saying and doing the right thing keep getting longer, but he still inevitably puts his foot in his mouth or does something disruptive to the team.

So only time will tell...

In my opinion it's his attitude that gets in the way of his game and separates him from the greats. I don't remember Larry, Magic, Michael, or Tim Duncan hyping so much, they convinced you they were the greatest with their game. Kobe still has time to achieve that though.

i would not call Ray Allen nor Vince Carter super by any means and that i do no longer think of they are on Kobe's point. I do have confidence Shaq grow to be the terrific participant on those situations at that element, he grow to be in basic terms too dominant.

everyone says that shaq was the one that carried the lakers to win championship....i disagree there. if shaq was that good why did he win the championship back when he was in Orlando. he had a pretty good team there. ( Penny, Nick, Dennis and Grant). Kobe just needs help like MJ had help from Scottie.

For me, Kobe must be Mr. Fantastic. As the leader of the team he can't do it by himself he needs the help of invisible woman, human torch, the thing. since they are only four. the team need someone as the silver surfer to get them back in the glory days of the lakers. may be another scorer.

im not on the i luv kobe band wagon, but kobe CAN lead a team. i mean the guy can score 80 sumthing points. if thats not a leader i dont kno wat is. yea u could say he was shaqs sidekick cuz wen shaq left the lakers sucked. but wat if kobe left and it was just shaq??? shaq cant score like kobe can. and the lakers almost made the playoffs this year. kobe lead them that far. and if u dont think it was kobe who got them 2 the brink of the playoffs?? lamar odom??? smush parker?? plz
