i was just wondering if this card was fast. I am upgrading from a ati 9600 pro. I have an agp system. If there is another card that is better give me the link. My price range is under $170. If any info is needed about my system just ask. Thanks for ur comments.

The 7800GS is actually a little better than the 7600GT. Also, XFX is a very good manufacturer. But despite that, I would go with this:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102093
a little better than either of the other two, plus it is ATI which you have now, so you can avoid the issue of having old ATI drivers causing problems with your new nVidia card.

That is a perfectly fine card. But the 7600GT does surpass it in some benchmarks. Do not buy from XFX though because of poor build quality and lack of good support.

Although I do see you are going from ATI to Nvidia. This could cause driver issues. There are ways to eliminate the ATI drivers completely. There is a link in my sources to the usual guide for this thing.

Also, check to see if you need a better power supply. I would go for a 400w or more for this card. Do not buy a really cheap one. My friend learned that the hard way.
