Seriously, in Los Angeles, you can count on EACH BLOCK the number liquor stores, motels and corner churches. Is this to cover the effect of poverty; or is it to BUY LIQUOR, SIN IN MOTELS AND THEN PRAY FOR FORGIVENESS??...just to have the cycle repeated over-and-over again?
p.s. I know that after the 1992 Los Angeles riots, they limited the number of liquor stores there could be in certain areas.

Well, probably so you can cash your governement check at the Quickie-Mart/Liquor store and buy some booze with your pack of cigs and ding-dongs. Then, of course, you can pick up the local crack-whore for a fun-filled night of STD's and three week old sheets. And when its all said and done let's make sure God gets his .42 cents for your good fortune.

well liquor is in almost every store ( that sells drinks u know) and i guess churches to help get ppl off the street ( never said it works plus she is right ppl with no money look to God more than others ) and with the motels.... they are cheap and the only reason you see motels like they are in the ghetto is because not a lot of adequate ppl live there

hmm well youre right, there are neighborhoods that seem to have a lot of those. the liquor stores, are there, because thyre in demand. the motels, yes sin exactly. and churches, are everywhere. but poor people, tend to go to church more often than teh well off.
in a neighborhood in Madison , WI where i live, they have along one street about 7 liquor stores, and not a grocery store around for miles. you can tell where people's priorities are

Go figure. What is more odd - those liquor stores aren't owned by anyone who lives in the community nor do the owners give back to the community. And, I don't mean giving people "credit" while they shop there or making up prices for items when people shop there... Do the research - it is pathetic. I don't shop at any "ghetto" store, nor do I care to, but, I do know that good people do live in "ghettos".

Hotels in the ghetto? I wouldn't want to stay there, lol.
I can't explain the hotels but I guess the mix of liquor stores and churches side by side is a representation of things important to them.

Because America is a capitalistic society based on supply and demand. And three things poor people demand are booze, God, and motels. It is quite simple actually, stop getting drunk and you will see all the stores disappear.

well i use to live in the project and they do it because the goverment gives them that that wat they want but you are really fine
