Take it to a recycle center. Some parts store also offer this service....but please don't pour it down the storm drains.

most counties now and small towns have a drop off center for this,you can dump it in a large container,and they re-cycle it in to heating oil,there's no fee for dumping it,and it actually helps keep the cost of heating oil down for people in the winter time,good luck hope this helps.

Most big autoparts stores offer this service. If they do offer this service and they say no, just leave the oil in their front door, sealed, and they will have to take it so they dont get fined.

usually your local auto part's store (ie advance auto part's, auto zone, napa..) will accept old oil....
