Facing the problem will get you out of the situation faster than running from it. Running is only a temporary solution that in fact can contribute to more problems in a long run.

Depends on who is causing the problem but most of the time I run to my Granny's house, then into a quiet room, the into my shell to be alone so I can calm down before I do something I will regret...

On my knees to pray for the strength to endure whatever it is that I am going through. Then I turn to my best friend or mother and let out, get a hug and realize that I can't run from it. Just face it head on. Other wise the only place you will be going is down. Crash and burn.

This is a trick question since you can't really get away from your problems except for a short while with drinking, spending, sleeping, over-eating, etc.
Okay, I go for a walk, make love with my wife, listen to music, call a friend, take a shower, watch a good movie, pet my dog.

My happy place, where there are cake and ice cream and a milk fountain, with Orlando Bloom and Michael Weatherly in bathing suits, beckoning me to come join them in the pool filled with iced tea with Green Day playing on the adjecent stage and my friends hanging out with me. Oh, not a fantasy place. Usually my room or for a walk. I just have to breathe.

I get into my car and drive up to the closest hill where no one can bother so I can clear my head, get out, breath the fresh air and stare at all the little lights of the city below or the stars above. I eventualy start to feel bigger and stronger.

You go nowhere!! Don't run from them--face them and that will set you free. Make them go away. Nothing is that bad that you can't face--look people in the eye and share the problems. Sometimes they can help you and you've divided them in half. Really, talk to someone.

An old tire swing that sits near a creek. I used to go there as a kid. I go there sometimes when I need a release from life's problems or just need to think.
