5x + 7 greater than or equal to 4x + 8

5x+7 >= 4x+8
Do simple arithmetic and get a zero on one side of the equation.
5x-4x+7-8 >=0
x-1>=0

This is obviously true for x=1 and x>1

5x-4x>=8-7
x>=1
