The new(er) fad of the colored jeans faded with (almost organic) vertical bands. That is acid wash jeans back for a second helping.

Stirrup pants, tight rolling jeans, big hair, Hammer pants, bell bottoms, when guys wore suits at all times of every day, the mullet (unfortunately, still in practice), leg warmers, high top shoes at all times of the day, short shorts on guys, there are so many!
