At 26, maybe five or six assuming maybe one or two one night stands, and 3 or 4 fairly serious relationships.

At 32, not many more, because that would assume their relationships hadn't lasted very long.

Really doesn't matter. By 32 I had relations with a hundred or more. I do not know the definition of a player, I was a bartender/DJ in the clubs and had lotsa fun often.
I could have been a gas station attendant and done the same, depends on the individual and whatever the heck a player is. I kinda know from TV and stuff, but that is make believe stories for entertainment.
I still have yet to find that one true love, you know forever and ever, ring of fire, open and honest till death do us part stuff. Yet I have settled down a bit and change is the only constant in the Universe that I am aware of.
By 26, 2 not to be a player, maybe 4, tops.
By 32, 6 not to be a player, max 8, any more and that is almost one a year since old enough to vote.
I was lucky I didn't get any STDs, been tested for everything cause I had gall stones 5 years ago.
Been with one lady since that, and she is a keeper. Honest and Open is the magic combination.

I've had 24 partners. Started at 15 (but the second one was at 17). I'm 27. And I'm a girl. Does that make me a sl*t? I usually don't sleep around, but I got that "high" number because, sometimes, I have sex with "plenty" of guys in a short period of time (usually in the summer), and then stop. Twice, I didn't have sex for 9 months. But in the last years, I had steady boyfriends.

I think it all depends on the attitude you have. People don't know I've had sex with that "many" guys. I don't dress up sl*ttily, hardly ever wear make up, usually ignore men, don't flirt... Apart from 4 of them, we really had a connection, and they really wanted to stay with with. But for reasons I'm not going to go into, I didn't want to.

So, as I said, it depends on your attitude towards your partner.

It doesn't matter really. What matters is if he is disease-free and he is only having sex with YOU.

My husband has been with many girls before he even met me. I know they are in the past where they belong, so I don't really care.

Neither should you.

The number of partners one has had is fairly irrelevant to me unless the person has obviously treated these partners like s.hit or has some kind of STD.

It really isn't how many partners but how long in between partners. How long is the longest relationship? Did they cheat?

26-2/3 partners
32-3/4 partners

Although if it was someone I was dating, I would prefer them to have had less.
