In the late 70s I do believe, there was a unique action movie in that the main stars were a pack of Doberman Pinschers who had been trained in robbing. I don’t recall whether they burgled a bank or a jewelry heist but it was something... anyone know what movie it is I am talking about?

...there were THREE of them, in fact, and they were definately retro-staples of the '70's.
They were:
"The Doberman Gang" (1972)
"The Daring Dobermans" (1973)
and
"The Amazing Dobermans" (1976)
...surprisingly enough, none of these films have seen release on DVD, and only the third one saw legitimate release on VHS tape (I know, 'cause I've virtually worn out MY tape!!!)
...suffice to say, I think I box set would suit well with these films; hey, MGM Home Video.....Listen Up!!!

The doberman gang? but it sounds a lil bit like a movie from that tme called my favorite dauchsund, where a doberman comes in and acts like a baby dauchsund wit all the other dauchsund puppies, soo cute!!
