With Bill Clinton limited to two terms, Jean Chretien and Tony Blair having retired, and Paul Martin having lost to a right-winger, the leader of the free world is Gordon Brown. That does not give me much confidence. But a new President is coming in January '09, and he (or she) will be the leader of the free world.

You are the leader of the free world!

We, the people, determine who leads the most free, powerful, and influential country in the world. What an honor and privilege!

You, as an individual, have the opportunity to participate in the political process, and if you wish, be one of the leaders of this great country and advance our ideals and values. What an opportunity!

You have the power and freedom through your vote and influence of others to change the course and direction of the greatest country in the history of the world...What a great country!
