making a whirlpool in swimming pool can cause damage?

If you and friends run clockwise in an above ground 16' wide pool and make a whirlpool, can it cause damage to pool?

i sure hope not . . cuz whirlpools r fun and i do them all the time in my above ground pool

No it cannot cause damage to the pool. Water flow won't affect the pool unless the water level drops below the required skimmer height while the filter is running.
