I used to do that a lot, then i got tired of waiting. Now if I want something or someone, I try to get it. I try. If it fails, I know where I stand, and when I succeed I've skipped the redundant waiting and gone straight to the goods. You can't be passive about your life, even if means risking getting hurt, because as you know, sometimes you get hurt anyways. I hope things work out better for you in the future, and that you wait no more for the things you desire.
