Wouldn't the most probable outcome be a massive 'no'?

So therefore, by proxy, is democracy a terrible threat to Israel?

yes, along with truth. Zionism is sold by deception and lies,as is its twin project along with supremacist Israel, One World Government.

No. I really doubt that is really the case.
If you asked the question in the Palestinian territories right now, you might get that response. But then again, people living there have been subject to the worse Israel could do for quite a while. So they're (understandably for those who follow events) Rather peeved.
Most of the Middle East, I suspect, especially if you ask ordinary citizens, have a more mitigated view on the issue.
I'm willing to believe most (whatever western propaganda says) have grown quite used to the existence of Israel and are quite ready to accept it. Most people in the Middle East live daily lives just like everywhere else, which involves jobs, families, hanging out with friends over coffee, etc... I hardly think destroying Israel is actually first on their list when they get up in the morning. Most would be conservative in the good sense of the word, in that no major change is probably a good way to continue daily lives. Remember that for every protester a camera is on, 1 000 people had better things to do that day. How would you like to be represented by anti-globalization anarchists who happen to be on camera?
Too much is made about how extreme these people are. They are not. Like most people all over the world, they are skeptical of radical change.

Nice attempt at circuitous logic. However, the Arab League is sending a delegation to Israel to try and work out some peace plan for Palestine. Since neither Israel or Palestine are run by Arabs, it looks like the "vote" has already taken place. In addition, two of the nations bordering Israel (Egypt and Jordan) have already entered into peace agreements with Israel.

Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East. We're trying to establish a democracy in Iraq (much to the chagrin of the Democrat Party). So therefore, by proxy, aren't Democrats preventing the elimination of Israel?

Allowing a small subset of the world's nations a vote on whether another nation is allowed to exist is not democracy much like if a small subset of a country's citizens were allowed to vote for their leaders is called "democracy".

For the record, I seem to recall a case where all nations did vote on the idea of a Jewish state... Oh yeah, it was the UN. (Not that I'm a fan of the institution.)

If the international locations surrounding Israel dropped their weapons right this moment, Israel could on the instant boost to embody the outer limits of its Biblical description, kicking out all Muslims alongside the way.

Most would vote that we should not be allowed to exist either, so is democracy a threat to the United States?

When in the history of democracy has there been a vote to see whether or not a nation is allowed to continue to exist?

Democracy is always a threat to the minority. That's why we have a Supreme Court...It can take laws passed by an intolerant majority and make them unconstitutional, thus protecting the minority.
