Go to a doc! problems in that area are nothing to mess around with! Also, eat a yogurt a day it will keep that nasty yeast away! Seriously it works!

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

If monistat isn't helping then it's not a yeast infection, so you need to see a doctor.

If you have never had a yeast infection before, and think you might have one then you need to see the doctor anyway. So if the doc says you have a yeast infection, then you know how to recognise them without all the guesswork next time.

You have given us no symptoms at all. How do we know if you need to see the dr. If monistat is not working, you obviously don't have a yeast infection. But you could have any number of other vaginal infections, so if the symptoms are bothering you, you need to see a gynecologist. I know you don't like that, but once you have a baby, a pelvic is a walk in the park. If you are more comfortable, get a female gynecologist.

I have had a couple yeast infections. It is nothing to be embarassed about b/c most women will get them in their lives. It is so irritating and you need to see a Dr. If you cannot afford one, go to your local health department. You can get a perscription for free. You will have to be examined but it is no big deal at all. They will just look for the discharge and it could be a bacterial infection instead of just a yeast infection and they can give you pills to help clear that up. Try asking for a pill called diflucan. You swallow it and your yeast infection should be gone in a day. It ALWAYS works for me. Antibiotics can also cause u to get tehse infections...and avoid wearing a thong for a few days if you do....because heat and moist lurk around that area and it won't help.

Go to the doctor. There is a pill that they can give you and you take it and the next day you are better. If you don't get it completely cleared up it will keep coming back. Summer is a terrible time for yeast infections.

1. Yes
2. Its not a yeast infection
3. Better safe than sorry..it could be something else. Get a female doctor if you can..much more comforting that way

Are you sexually active, If so then you may have an STD. Also, sometimes if you have a really bad infection or chronic ones, you should go to the doctor. Planned Parenthood is the cheapest and fairly comfortable.
