its on my computer and its slowing it down. its making it impossible to use. i need help fast. it was like about blank are something like that.

If I were you, I would avail myself of the free trials of some really good anti-spyware programs such as CounterSpy. It is far more powerful than any free software out there.
Try their free 15 day trial of the full system and see what it picks up.
It cannot hurt to try and unlike anti-virus programs, you can run more than one anti-spyware program on your computer.

I like Windows Defender or Ad-Aware. They are both free for personal use.

There are several very good ones.
Lavasofts Adware
Spybot Search and Destroy.
Both can be found on any search engine.

The best solution is always to REFORMAT!! It will save you alot of time and frustration. In my line of work, I save customers alot of money and time by just rebuilding (reformatting) it. Otherwise, try www.download.com and see what they have to offer.
