Its not like I care. But I just want to know.
I mean, culturally she is Black. She wears bamboo earings (no lie), apple bottom jeans, ect. But I am not quite sure if she is asian or hispanic (I think that must mean she is filipino).
I've wanted to ask her what she is, but don't want to jack my game all up over something that doesn't have any bearing on whether or not I want to fap her. I suppose if she wanted me to know she would have mentioned it by now, but she hasn't.
Do I ask, or not?

If I were you and was curious enough, I would go ahead and ask. If she was sensitive enough to get offended over such a thing then I'd be glad that I found out she's so uptight... And, as some people say, I would drop her like a hot potato.
Of course, ask only if you're comfortable about doing so.
Oh, and (to whoever mentioned an identity crisis) I think it's rather simple-minded to think that someone might be experiencing an identity crisis due to "feeling" black. People embrace cultures for various reasons which don't necessarily involve going through an identity crisis.

i don't think it's offensive to ask her what she is. I get asked all the time if i'm black/white or black/hispanic, or "What are u mixed with?" i don't get offended. It's not a big deal if ppl are interested. I'm just mostly Panamanian, with some Colombian in me.

No, I asked this guy one time. I asked him "if you don't mind me asking, what is your background?" I didn't walk up to him and ask. I thought he had some black in him but he was 100% Puerto Rican.
When I have my daughter with me, some people ask what she's mixed with~Asian, Mexican or Puerto Rican. She's black and white.

If you're going to ask you can't say it like that. You gotta' be like "what is your ethnic background" or "what is your cultural background?" Oh and never ever EVER ask someone that you think has some black in them "what are you mixed with" ever

People ask me all the time my ethnicity & I do not feel offended in any way, I guess it totally depends on the indivdual. I think that you are safe!

just ask.. im sure shes been asked that very question all her life so being asked by u wouldn't be anything new. i personally don't get offended when people ask me.. its when they assume im chinese or japanese then start saying random phrases to me that irritates the hell out of me. (( ps.. don't ask her to say things in her language.. its annoying)

Whats there to be offended about? If you ask, it just seems that you're interested in her.

You could always ask where she is from or possibly where her parents are from. Asking someone directly generally doesn't get you points.

Compliment her on something, and then ask what ethnicitiy she is. Like say "You have very unique gorgerous eyes, what ethicity are you?"

ask her; you'll be fine. Just ease into the convo though. She might FEEL like she's Black and may have identity problems. Look at TEENA MARIE!
MOTOSON lay off just because you don't understand BE or Slang there is no reason to degrade him.
