When I was a kid, we played outside from dawn till dark , penny candy, free movie matinees on Thrusday, painting all the store front windows at halloween, christmas carrolling, waiting anxiously for The Ed Sullivan Show to have the Beatles on . Loved Saturday night dinners when the whole family would come over.

The good ole days for me right now are when I was in college and first began dating my wife. I am sure in 20 years right now will be the good ole days as I am watching my children grow up at the moment.

My good ole days were between 1988 and 1994, after I was out of school and before I had kids. I only had to work enough to keep myself in concert tickets, and road trips were spontaneous. I had lots of friends, and no real responsibilities.
Now I'm working about eighty percent of my waking hours, am responsible for organizing and managing three other people's lives, and my friends are busy with theirs'. Sigh.

The late 80's to early 90's- ratted bangs, tight rolled jeans, jean jackets, high tops, Tiffany, Poison, Guns n Roses, Kirk Cameron, Vanilla Ice--just a few of the things I miss.

About 3 days ago. I have a very very short memory. If I take more than a 30 minute lunch break, I have to be retrained, seriously.
