Does anyone know what the earliest example of a motion picture is? Not a movie, just a segment of motion in general. Also, where I can find it, if it's available to view online, thanks!

The earliest known motion picture is "Roundhay Garden Scene", by Louis Le Prince, from 1888. This is from IMDb; you can find a copy of it at the link below.

Actually the first MOTION picture was made by Madame Curie filming the movement of radioactive emmisions

This must be by the Lumiere Brothers who were French and it shows a steam train.
