I notice some people on the site would go to any length to get as many points as they can. I used to be like that, but now I've gotten over it. I just come on here to answer questions, get a laugh, and get to learn other's personalities.

For the fun of it... AND to inform and educate..
I answer questions in Small Business, because I am a bit of an expert in that area. I tackle questions people find uncomfortable or less than competent to answer.
I come on this category to have fun.
What ends up happening is that I get quite a few best answers over on SB, and for that I dont apologize one bit. I help someone out, and I treat a BA as a pat on the back. I couldnt care less about getting a BA here on P&S....
What I get here is a bunch of thumbs-down, and sometime I'm even followed over to where I am serious.
I can see your point about the points for points sake, but Y!A should also not be a child's play-toy to do as they see fit, regardless of what it does to others, and that is what you have here on P&S. Few can take this category seriously, because few treat it that way. Same goes for Singles and Dating.
A user will get out of this site what they put into it, but if Y!A doesnt watch out,.. their more mature users will just get out..PERIOD...
