I know that in many countries, it is not right for a Muslim woman to show a lot of skin (like cleavage, a lot of leg, etc). But I've seen several Muslim women (living in the US and the UK, as well) who, sometimes, flaunt much of their body and fail to keep certain "things" covered. Is this wrong of them?

I, myself, am not saying it is wrong of them. I'm just curious as to if this is actually part of the religion that they are totally supposed to follow...

In the western world, as well as more liberal Muslim countries like Kuwait, it is acceptable for Muslim women not to have their entire body covered. Short skirts, showing lots of cleavage, and the like, is and should be frowned upon.
Usually Muslim women, at least at my high-school, dress like everyone else.

Originally, everything is supposed to be covered, except the eyes. It is to "keep another from being attracted to you". Our country protects Muslim women from the harsh punishments of beating or killing because of "embarrassing the family". She should dress however she feels.

While we have pencostal women who wear long skirts and keep their hair long. long sleeve blouses and other modest clothes. We also have Amish women who dress modestly.
But I do not believe they need to wear burkas with peap holes for eyes. That is to draw attention to themselves or to make their husband feel powerful. See what I can make her do to please me. I am so macho.
I believe it should not be allowed for many reasons one of them being they can hide a lot of explosives under those berkas and we don't know if it is a women or a man.
Just as nuns I feel is to much for attention.

They can dress however they like within the rules of decency prescribed by local laws just as Christian or Jewish or Hindu or Atheist women can. As long as they are not breaking the law, how they dress is no business of yours.

They are human, leave them be. Is it right to expect a person to cover themselves head to toe? Maybe the men should try it and see how it feels.

It is up to them. This is a free country so I would hope they would dress free. Of course it is up to them.
