I now live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I have been wanting to move north for some time. I am a white liberal atheist bisexual. Any ideas where I would fit in?

Portland OR, I hear it's nice up there weather wise and scenery. The cost of living is in the top 5 lowest in the country (but it's not #1), so it's cheap to live there. You get an all in one, you get city life, suburbia, and country all in one. Granted the country has trees. They even have a bike trail that goes to Seattle WA! Also there's lots of artists and young folk around due to colleges and what not. There's huge liberal scene especially if you are far left ;-)
Oh yeah, and unlike NY or LA, Portland was ratted one of the best air quality cities in the USA (somewhere in the top 10 I think). So it's good for you health too to move there ;-)

I think you should move to New York City,,, I think you would fit there.. You would love it soo much,, you wouldn't want to leave. At first it would be fast too you, but you would get used to it.

My opinion is, move wherever you want. How you live your life has nothing to do with the people around you. If they don't like it, don't associate with them.
